Behavioural data for MSM have shown relatively stable rates of unprotected anal intercourse with casual partners in Melbourne between 2004 and 2008, whereas Sydney showed a decreasing trend and Queensland showed an increasing trend. 9 In Thailand, the prevalence of HIV infection has been decreasing in the last 10 years: pregnant women from 1.46–0.65%, among direct sex workers from 18.46–2.76% and among indirect sex workers from 6.56–1.71% in 2000 and 2009, respectively.
