There were some associations between RORA SNPs and atopic sensitization at 8 years, rhinitis at 8 years and wheezing up to 4 years, but all of them were of borderline significance, suggesting that in this population RORA is mainly associated with the diagnosis of childhood asthma rather than atopic-traits ( File S2 ) .
