Data combined from all three sites shows highly significant correlations particularly ( r > 0.7, n = 30) between 16S rRNA gene copies for prokaryotes and bacteria, 16S rRNA gene copies for Bacteria , Archaea and Geobacteraceae and the dsrA gene copy number.
