In stratified analysis by use of chronic stable doses of diuretics, statins, oral hypoglycemic medications, and RAAS-inhibitor medications, interaction terms used to evaluate the effects of RAAS and n-3 PUFA supplementation use were significant for NGAL ( P = 0.01), NAG ( P < 0.01), and microalbuminuria ( P = 0.04), borderline significant for LFABP ( P = 0.06), and nonsignificant for KIM-1 ( P = 0.35) ( Table 3 ).
