A highly significant reduction in the main MRI endpoint of the number of new/enlarging T2-lesions was also demonstrated with both fingolimod doses. 24 However, the rate of 3-month sustained disability progression was not lowered with fingolimod treatment, with the majority of patients in all three groups (~93%) not experiencing a worsening EDSS.
