Limitations Although we found highly significant differences between symptomatic and asymptomatic plaques, there was a significant overlap of some of these plaque features between symptomatic and asymptomatic plaques, suggesting that a complete separation of symptomatic and asymptomatic subjects is not feasible using a single CMR variable.
