At multiple regression analysis, adjusted for age, country of origin, breast‐feeding, physical activity, parental overweight/obesity, and parental education, a linear highly significant increase in BMI z‐score, waist circumference, and sum of skinfolds was observed both in boys and in girls, moving across the categories of hs‐CRP.
