We identified the gene expression changes in the oral neutrophils of CP patients and observed that in addition to the regulation of genes in the Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathway and other inflammation pathways a significant number of genes were altered with the apoptosis regulatory pathway being highly significant.
