Using the non-parametric T-test there was no significant difference in the MTT values between the two groups ( t = 0.78; P = 0.43), but we detected statistically significant difference between groups in values of CBF ( t = 9.44; P = 0.0001) and CBV ( t = 10.47; P = 0.0001) (Table 1 ). There was highly significant correlation between CBF and CBV decrease in core lesion ( r = 0.841; P < 0.01) and decreased CBF ( r = 0.461; P < 0.01) with variable CBV values in penumbra locations ( r = 0.240; P < 0.05).
