The separate analysis, by group, indicated significant leg difference in the two fatigue indexes in the groups with unilateral and with bilateral leg involvement ( P = 0.04, P < 0.0001, respectively), except that in the group with unilateral involvement (n = 19), the comparison between legs for the normalized fatigue index did not quite reach significance ( P = 0.12).
