a weak trendP = 0.15
A weak trend for decreasing prevalence of quadruple mutants (triple Pfdhfr + Pfdhps 437G) was noted in both groups ( P = 0.15 and P = 0.34).
A weak trend for decreasing prevalence of quadruple mutants (triple Pfdhfr + Pfdhps 437G) was noted in both groups ( P = 0.15 and P = 0.34).
Regarding the triple mutant Pfdhfr haplotype (C IRN ), there was a small trend for an increase in prevalence in the control group from 52.1% (37 of 71) in 2009 to 64.3% (36 of 56) in 2010 (χ 2 = 1.90, P = 0.17), whereas in the IPT group, it was significant, from 40.6% (28 of 69) in 2009 to 64.6% (42 of 65) in 2010 was observed (χ 2 = 7.75, P = 0.005).
