Of the 1237 polymorphisms representing 22 genes in the IL-6 canonical pathway, 67 additional genes in the IL-6 network, six baseline disease activity end points and two patient populations (all-patient, white), six associations were found to have borderline significance after adjusting for multiple testing, with an FDR of approximately 5%.
