In support of this contention, we found that at lower Pd or Pt catalyst loadings, or even with poisoned Pd catalysts (specifically Lindlar’s catalyst), an increasing trend of higher diastereoselectivity was noted, albeit without complete reaction (see Supporting Information File 1 , Tables S1–7).
