The prevalence of UTI was found to be 53.82% in this study and this rate of prevalence is higher than in the other studies which accounts for 25.6% [ 34 ], 22% [ 35 ], 38.6% [ 36 ], 35.5% [ 11 ], 4.2% [ 37 ], 17.19% [ 20 ], 10.86% [ 21 ], 34.5% [ 38 ], and 36.68% [ 39 ] in India; however, the prevalence rate of UTI in our study correlates with other studies done in South Trinidad [ 40 ], and in the Mexican population [ 41 ] which showed such more highly significant uropathogens 49% and 97.3%, respectively.
