However, a highly significant decrease in the PASI score of both groups was noted after the eight week lasting therapy, as patients in group I attained a 53% reduction in their PASI score with a mean ± SD of 15.4 ± 1.2 and patients in group II attained a 60% reduction in their PASI score with a mean ± SD of 16.8 ± 1.1 ( P value < 0.05) for both groups.
