However, it is likely to be significant that the corresponding region in hOGA has the atypical sequence Thr852-Asp853-Pro854-Ser855-Val856-Ala857 (Fig. 5 ▶ ) compared with the GNAT family, suggesting that AcCoA may not be a substrate of hOGA.
