Regarding the interaction of genotype and daily life stress in predicting daily externalizing symptoms, the omnibus significance test of the two genotype contrasts was not indicative of a G × E effect ( χ 2 (2) = 2.89, P = 0.23), although the comparison between SS and LL group slopes was marginally significant (see Table 2 ).
