We have also observed that in 2 year old Tg2576 mice a very similar ∼12% reduction in spike width is seen under similar experimental conditions (0.67 ± 0.02 ms (WT, n = 17) versus 0.60 ± 0.03 ms (Tg2576, n = 20)), although this change just failed to reach statistical significance ( P < 0.06), probably due to the lower statistical power is this study than in our work on cohorts of PSAPP and PDAPP.
