The mean age of enrolled children was 6.1 years and in terms of age distribution, there was a decreasing trend of case numbers for children from 1-10 year-old group, followed by a slightly upward trend for the 15-17 year-old group, with or without subsequent hospitalization (Figures 1 A and C).
