In a multivariate Cox-regression analysis the association between FE-IgG and progression to kidney failure remains highly significant even after adjustment for the key potential confounding factors: age, kidney function, blood pressure, proteinuria, and treatment with ACEi/ARB and immunosuppression drugs, (HR 20.84, 95% CI: 2.8–156.8, p =0.003, Figure 1 ).
