We think there are possibilities that if we administered a higher concentration of LA (at equivalent phosphate-binding doses of LA and CA) to rats, there might be significant differences between the ADR-LA group and the other groups in expression level of Klotho, and keeping the high levels of Klotho expression in the ADR-LA group compared to the other groups suggests that LA without adding to the calcium load has a good influence on decreasing mortality.
