In a reasonable number of bipolar outpatients, we found a highly significant correlation and good concordance between the daily LC-self and the clinician-rated scales for mania (YMRS and CGI-BP IA), depression (IDS-C and CGI-BP IB) and for the overall mood state (CGI-BP IC), suggesting good reliability and validity for the LC-self.
