Nevertheless, findings suggest that within such mind–body classes, there may be significant numbers of individuals engaging in disordered eating behaviours who could benefit from a teaching approach that helps them feel better about and more connected to their bodies, in order to increase the likelihood of taking care of themselves and avoiding these harmful behaviours.
