Some evidence of delayed gastric emptying during the first hour of the meal test was apparent with liraglutide 3.0 mg (a nonsignificant trend with 1.8 mg was observed), in agreement with results from previous trials with liraglutide 1.8 mg in T2DM. 11 , 12 The clinical relevance of this initial delay in gastric emptying is unknown.
