When we examined any effect on cell adhesion to basement membrane, it was seen that MCF7exp cells exhibited lower adhesion but that MDA-MB-231exp cells were more adhesive compared with those of the wild type and control cells, although this did not achieve significance (MCF7wt, MCF7pef, MCF7exp, MDA-MB-231wt, MDA-MB-231pef, and MDA-MB-231exp cells were 31.3 ± 20.6, 24.3 ± 12.4, 26.7 ± 31.5, 12.7 ± 18.8, 15.5 ± 15.6, and 14.0 ± 14.4 respectively, P > 0.05) (Figure 4 B).
