Based on these results, there was an increasing trend in the number of salivary N -glycoproteins that was associated with increasing age, and the increase in the number of N -glycoproteins was higher in the male groups than in the female groups, except for the female adult group which exhibited a small decrease compared to the female children group (Figure 3 C).
