a trend towards significancep = 0.001
The relationship between WM and IGF2BP1 methylation was mainly due to shared genetic and environmental factors, although unique environmental influences also showed a trend towards significance ( β B = −9.8×10 −3 , p = 0.001; β W = −2.9×10 −3 , p = 0.086) (see Table 4 and Figure 3 ): 10-point rises in the pair's mean WM score (i.e., WM's familial component) would account for an approximate reduction of 9.8% in methylation, whereas a 10-point advantage over a duo's average WM value would correlate with a 2.9% methylation level reduction.
