The subgroup analyses of the overall survival and global DNA hypomethylation status detected a little significant correlation in the patients with a global DNA methylation rate less than 50% (HR, 2.52; 95%CI, 1.72–3.71; I 2 , 54.2%).However, after stratification by mean age, year of publication, mean follow-up, biological samples used, hypomethylation cut-off, and test method, no significant results were found.
