Evidence for specificity is mostly provided by immunoblot (or immunoprecipitation) data, although this there is an increasing trend for this to be supported by pictorial ‘pretty-picture’ evidence for a staining pattern by immunofluorescence or immunocytochemistry on paraffin sections.
