Compared with only 14.1% (9/64) of interns, triple the number of PG students (46.8%, 30/64) had ever treated a HIV patient and this difference was statistically highly significant ( P < 0.001), but almost all interns (98.4%, 63/64) and PG students (100%, 64/64) were willing to provide dental treatment to HIV patient if encountered in practice [ Table 2 ].
