Studies of correlation matrix of seed yield with GDD (r = 0.61, 0.65 and 0.75), PTU (r = 0.66, 0.64 and 0.74), HTU (r = 0.79, 0.68 and 0.73) were highly significant at anthesis, 50 % flowering and at physiological maturity (Table 4 ).
