In this sample of male inpatients with schizophrenia we found little evidence of a relationship between neurocognitive variables and either symptoms or functional measures, with the exception of a nonsignificant trend relationship between decrements in verbal working memory performance and increased scores on the disturbing or aggressive behaviour subscale of the PSP.
