A similar pattern was observed for the paralogous miR-106-363 cluster showing a non-significant down-regulation in expression of miR-106a, miR-18a, and miR-20b after 24 h and a highly significant down-regulation of miR-106a, miR-18a, miR-20b, and miR-19b after 5 days of E. faecalis infection ( Figure 1 B).
