But when limiting the analysis to sprayers who had only used pyrethroids (52 out of 108 with valid HbA 1c results), a statistically significant trend was revealed between cumulative exposure and odds ratio of abnormal glucose regulation ( P = .01). Sensitivity analyses that only included age, BMI, and use of antidiabetics as confounders gave similar estimates as the fully adjusted models, although the association between cumulative exposure and OR of abnormal glucose regulation among sprayers who had only used pyrethroids was only borderline significant at P = .08 (data not shown).
