There was a highly significant correlation between the extent of CAD and low HDL-C ( P < 0.001), [ Table 2 ], old age ( P = 0.003) and male sex ( P = 0.02) [ Table 3 ]. 21 (7.1%) patients were asymptomatic, 110 (37.3%) had stable angina, 127 (43.1%) had NSTE-ACS, 20 (6.8%) STEMI and 17 (5.7%) had HF.
