In the models adjusted additionally for maternal age at childbirth, both of these associations remained significant, and the previously marginally significant association between maternal grand multiparity and an over 1.5-fold increased risk of any mood disorder in the offspring also became statistically significant ( Tables 4 ; Fig. 3 ).
