Subgroup analysis in smaller subgroups of patients, who were consistently AF/AT free (n=140 in PAF group, n=72 in LSPAF group) or consistently non–AF/AT free (n=48 in PAF group, n=28 in LSPAF group) across all annual assessments ( Figure 3 ), showed that baseline–to–3‐year improvement in QoL was highly significant in AF/AT‐free PAF and LSPAF patients (EQ‐5D: 9.6±14.4 and 10.4±12.8; EQ‐VAS: 7.0±14.5 and 11.5±13.5, respectively; all P <0.00001).
