A UK study showed a marginally significant increase of lung cancer in CB production workers [ 15 ], however, the follow-up investigation demonstrated that this increase was not related to cumulative CB exposure, but a combination of factors including prevalence of smoking, previous occupations, social class, and regional effects unrelated to smoking habits [ 16 ].
