In terms of confidence in the quantification procedure, a highly significant relationship was attained between the NaOH–EDTA extract TDP, and the sum of peak areas of all P signals normalized to the MDPA peak area ( P signal area norm = 0.0045 × TDP NaOH–EDTA − 2.14; R 2 = 0.98, p < 0.001).
