To test whether both topologies were equally likely, we ran a Bayesian analysis enforcing the topology found by the ML search and then compared the analyses using Bayes Factors, which indicated that the unconstrained topology found in our original Bayesian analysis is ~10 37 times better supported than the alternative ML topology, which is highly significant [ 55 ].
