Over two experiments of 10 mice in each experiment (total of 20 mice and 40 oviducts assessed), we consistently observed a highly significant reduction in the rate of hydrosalpinx (Table 1 , P < 0.001, chi-square analysis with Yates correction), when compared to historical controls and a slight but statistically significant drop in the rate of hydrosalpinx in the BALB/c susceptible strain ( P < 0.04).
