However, and in agreement with Ahad et al, [ 29 ], our results also indicated that adenine treatment has induced a highly significant increase in the concentrations of some inflammatory cytokines (particularly TNF–α), and this effect has been significantly and markedly suppressed by chrysin treatment at the three doses given.
