Rhythm Reproduction Task East African rhythms were reproduced more accurately than Western rhythms [main effect of rhythm type: F (1,38) = 18.00, p < 0.001], and there was a marginally significant effect of group, suggesting that North American participants reproduced more rhythms accurately than East African participants did [main effect of group: F (1,38) = 3.63, p = 0.064] However, there was also a significant interaction between group and rhythm type [ F (1,38) = 5.5, p = 0.024].
