For insect-pollinated species, the proportion of regional diversity decreased by 0.076 (SE = 0.018, 95 % CI = 0.043–0.113) for reduction by one of the natural logarithm of island size (for instance from 1096 to 403 km 2 or from 162 755 to 59 874 km 2 ), but this was not the case for wind-pollinated species (marginally significant interaction; Fig. 4 A, Table 2 ).
