Venous flow velocity appeared to be greater among younger subjects, and decreased in elderly subjects (p=0.042) ( Figure 1 ) Interestingly, resting venous flow velocity appeared to be greater among subjects without dyslipidemia 10.042±8.26 cm/sec versus 9.635±10.177 in those with dyslipidemia, although this difference did not quite reach statistical significance (p=0.057).
