The risk factors were the years of being a carpet weaver (Pearson's correlation coefficient = 0.33), level of education (the number of pain sites tended to decrease with higher level of education, p < 0.001), age (the number of painful sites showed an increasing trend with ageing, p < 0.001), physical loading at work (most of the painful anatomical sites were reported by the participants who had the highest physical loading at work, p < 0.001), time pressure ( p < 0.001), lack of support ( p < 0.001), and job dissatisfaction ( p = 0.001).
