This gap is extremely significant for this study for two reasons: (1) it enables us to validate our suggested method using an annotated set of measurements that were collected after an elapsed time of five months; and (2) during this period of time, the sensors were exposed to severe contamination, because external interferents could easily and irreversibly become attached to the sensing layer, because the temperature of the sensors was below the operating temperature.
