The results in the present study showed statistically highly significant increase in retention of crowns on tooth with adequate crown (H1) compared to inadequate crown height (H2), this attributed to the fact pointed by Kaufman et al as increased retention of complete cast crown depends on length, surface area, surface texture, convergence angle and other related factors to castings and cementations ( 2 ).
