The child health precautions index (OR = 1.786; p-value = 0.001) and the medical cost knowledge index (OR = 1.29; p-value = 0.001) are both positive and highly significant in the per capita income model (3): children are more malnourished in households that are deprived in taking child health precautions and are less knowledgeable regarding medical treatment costs.
