In the liquid fraction, archaea (Methanobacteria/Methanomicrobia and Thermoplasmata) showed highly significant positive correlations with A:P ratio and n-butyrate, and negative correlations with propionate, so it appears that the relationship between relative abundance of these archaea and VFAs was opposite to that of OTU-S3004.
